During the phone consultation, we will discuss what you know about Montessori, what you are looking to set up within your home, what your goals are for your children (such as building focus and concentration, etc), schedule our two sessions together, and whatever else you would like. This is a get to know you session for both of us!
In the first two hour session, we will go through a brief tour of your home to get an idea of the space, discuss your vision for your playroom, and work together to purchase any materials that are needed, such as trays, baskets, shelving , art materials, and toys.
In the second two hour session, we will work together to build a well-ordered and beautiful playroom and art space for your children that will promote independence, responsibility, and focus.
The educational extensions are for those who would like to take a deeper dive into bringing Montessori into their home. They are 1 hour sessions on an individual basis. See below examples for how to possibly utilize an educational extension:
Example 1: after setting up a beautiful playroom, you would like to set up your child's bedroom to promote independence. Together, we can work to set the bedroom up for the child to be successful without an adults help.
Example 2: after setting up a beautiful playroom, you realize you would like different toys for your children to play with. Together we can work to purchase those toys or educational materials, and set up a toy rotation that you can run succesfully.
Yes, if you have purchased shelving, it should be built before the second session. This is to make the most of our time together.
You are required to commit to TWO sessions, which come as a package. These sessions are two hours long each, and cost $180 each for a total of $360. However, if you pay upfront for both sessions, you receive a $30 discount for a total of $330.
The educational extensions are hourly sessions and cost $80 a session.
